About the Role

Your Role as a Control Engineer

As a Control Engineer, you belong to a larger group of engineers spread across Sweden. You will work at our customers' power stations with the following tasks:

  • Maintenance testing of relay protection
  • Commissioning, configuration, and testing of control systems
  • Troubleshooting and relay changes
  • Work with remote controls and other station equipment
  • Minor construction adjustments in connection with commissioning

You belong to the Technology business area, where we have about 170 engineers spread throughout the country, providing access to a very large knowledge base. We actively work with internal training to broaden and deepen the skills of our employees. With us, you have the opportunity to work with all types of control equipment, at all voltage levels, from 0.4kV to 400kV.

Travel in the job occurs as a natural part of the work.

Requirements

We know that you will develop with us. However, we would like you to already have:

  • A post-secondary education in electrical power or equivalent work experience in electrical power
  • Several years of experience working with control systems/testing in 130-400 kV
  • Good knowledge of electrical power installations
  • Good computer skills
  • Driver's license B
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with IEC 61850
  • Experience in independently performing construction adjustments

As a person, you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills with both internal and external contacts. To succeed in the role, you also need to be able to plan and prioritize your tasks independently.
